SPORtZONE UK
We are a nationwide sports coaching company based in the UK. We are employed by schools to deliver PE lessons, which covers all Physical Education National Curriculum requirements and coaching in over 20 sports. Our agenda is based on and linked to the national programme of study for PE at Foundation, KS1 and KS2.
All of our staff are subject to ongoing assessment, meeting the Ofsted criteria and undergoing DBS checks.
Our instructors are trained to identify talented and special educational needs/gifted. We advise and liaise with school senior management in respect of this. We prepare and also provide individual subject reports for each child in line with the schools reporting procedures, including gifted and talented reporting. Lessons are planned and assessed in terms of pupil progression, ensuring optimised development.
All SportZone coaches are qualified to the highest level within sports instructing. Our instructors are also very experienced in working with, but not limited to working in the education sector.
The sessions our instructors provide incorporate differentiation - each group of children will be taught according to developmental needs (as well as chronological). We emphasise 'fun' irrespective of skill level to encourage active participation.

SportZone UK Ltd was created in March 2009 by Ben Anderson.
Ben has been involved in sport all of his life. He started as a teenager when he signed for Watford FC, a professional Football team. During this period, Ben was playing at the highest level in England. Throughout his time at the club, he gained many skills that he transfers to the workplace, including discipline and teamwork. Ben grasped the industry - including basic economics, the buying and selling of players and working contracts. When the contract ended, he decided to pursue a career in professional coaching.
Being a professional sportsman, he also experienced a high level of competitiveness. Ben also has experience in sporting activities such as athletics at a county standard, basketball at a county and national tournaments, and lacrosse to a county standard and national competitions.
SportZone UK was created to allow children access to fun, healthy and educational coaching sessions.
SportZone UK now works with thousands of children weekly. We have a team of enthusiastic coaches who work closely with our fantastic office-based team. We focus on our office and admin teams, just as much as we focus on the 'f' in 'fun.
